Why I started CrossFit: I’ve always been into fitness and training. When I left the military, where I was an Army PTI, I eventually became a civilian PT. But like many, I became bored with the usual “sets and reps” style training, and started paying more attention to functional fitness. I found CrossFit and was hooked immediately.

Why I started CrossFit: I started because my wife (Charlie) encouraged me. As soon as I started, I realised I loved the community the gym has. I got hooked when I very quickly started seeing my strength and fitness improve.

Why i started CrossFit: Initially as a way to get fitter for rugby, but i got drawn into the community, the coaches and the ability to just turn up and get a good workout no matter what the day. It also scratches my competitive itch and gives me something to work toward.
